The early years...
Bud simply served burgers and beer to boaters in the summer, fishermen and ice-racers in the winter. He later sold the waterfront business to Bob and Anita McRae.

Decades later...
The McRae's transformed the tavern into a family-friendly summertime destination. With the addition of outdoor dining, summers are VERY busy with cars lined down the street to enjoy cold beer, sunshine and live music. Bayside, a longtime local favorite, brings a unique, fun and comfortable dining experience to Fair Haven.

Today

The McRae family and team continue to deliver hospitable service and great food. The crew, 5-time consecutive champs, win the annual Taste Fest in town (each time they participate), affirming the position of "best around"! The patronage of seasonal newcomers and loyal regulars keep it all going. Cheers to another season ahead!
